Meet Tahlulah and Domino

Our February 2026 Pet of the Month

Domino and Tallulah both joined our family from Carolina Loving Hound Rescue. Tallulah was first, adopted 4 years ago when my sister adopted Tallulah’s sister Rue. Tallulah was so cute with her whiskers and beard that I had to adopt her! Supposedly she is a red bone coon hound/poodle mix…we have never tested her DNA so the mystery remains. I continued following the rescue on Facebook and a couple of years later saw puppy Domino…he was adorable and I previously had a Great Dane and love the breed. Off I went back to South Carolina to pick up Domino. He has a brother who stayed in South Carolina, brother’s name is Elvis. Tallulah loves food, any kind she is not picky and will troll in the sink and pull out silverware, any type of dirty dishes etc. Nothing is safe on the counter either, pizza boxes and anything of food value must be placed VERY high in the kitchen. She hates rainy weather and acts like the wetness is hurting her paws. Rainy days are to be dreaded. Domino loves squeaky balls, any kind. He buries them in the sofa and then digs them out…then buries them again and again…not good for the furniture!!
