Meet Rocky

Our July 2025 Pet of the Month

Born on May 29, 2016, Rocky is a charming mix of American Foxhound (50%), Chow Chow (25.9%), Golden Retriever (17.6%), and Boxer (6.5%)—and somehow manages to be 100% heart-stealer.

Don’t let his good looks fool you—this quirky gentleman is as goofy as he is lovable. Rocky has a soft spot for little dogs (which he’ll fiercely protect), but big dogs? Nope, too scary. His favorite toy in the whole world is a Santa Claus stuffed animal filled with crinkle paper and a squeaker—it’s been through at least five “surgical” repairs, but he won’t give it up.

Whether he’s politely crossing his front paws like canine royalty or stopping to greet every passerby with a wag and a smile, Rocky’s sweet soul and silly habits make him impossible not to love.
